Job Description:

• Maintenance of day-to-day accounting records and document retention.
• Monthly bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
• Monthly reconciliation of the account receivable and account payable sub-ledger.
• Drafting of monthly/quarterly management accounts and presentation of report.
• Preparation and maintenance of general ledgers and sub-ledgers.
• Implement processes to ensure all revenue streams are accurately identified and captured.
• Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
• Preparation of draft financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Conduct reviews of annual budgets versus actual financial performance to inform decision making and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Continuous evaluation and monitoring of financial data to ensure decision-making processes in generating revenue and financing strategies are consistent with approved guidelines set by the company.
• Review of monthly valuation report for Income recognition.
• Presentation on quarterly performance & updates with the directors.
• Work with finance team, field accountants, and procurement team to manage financial and accounting records.
• Provision of financial information requested by the auditors in respect of financial statements for each period end.
• Engagement with external auditors.
• Communication with auditors and responding to queries.
• Providing relevant schedules to auditors.
• Attending to Internal and External Auditors' queries.

Requirements:

• B.Sc Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years in a senior accounting and managerial position in a medium-to-large company
• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Proficiency in accounting software; Zoho Accounts/SAGE and other integrated software.
