Job Description:
We are seeking a charismatic and highly organized Guest Relations Manager to elevate the guest experience at our hotel in Ikeja. As the primary champion of our service standards, you will be responsible for creating a "home away from home" experience that exceeds expectations from the moment guests arrive until their departure. This is a high-visibility role for a hospitality professional who understands that the difference between a good stay and a great one is in the details. If you are a proactive leader with a passion for personalized service and a sharp eye for operational excellence, we want you to set the gold standard for our hotel.
Requirements:
Elevated Guest Service: Orchestrate a seamless, high-touch experience for all guests, with special focus on personalized attention for VIPs, families, elderly guests, and those with disabilities.
Operational Oversight: Manage front-of-house procedures, including reservations, financial transactions, and room readiness. Coordinate closely with housekeeping and wait staff to ensure 360-degree hospitality.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the reception and concierge teams. Set daily tasks, monitor progress, and conduct performance appraisals to ensure total compliance with our service standards.
Problem Resolution: Act as the final point of contact for complex guest concerns. Listen actively, resolve complaints promptly, and turn potential negatives into positive brand loyalty.
Brand Ambassadorship: Promote our full suite of amenities, dining options, and loyalty programs. Serve as a local expert, recommending dining, shopping, and sightseeing to enhance the guest’s stay in Lagos.
Quality Optimization: Analyze feedback from guestbooks and online reviews to identify trends, suggesting improvements to management that drive our ratings higher.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: BSc Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
Experience: Proven work experience as a Guest Relations Manager, Hotel Manager, or a similar senior hospitality role.
