Job Description:
We are seeking a poised and professional Guest Relation Officer (GRO) to join our team in Ilorin. As the primary point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring a warm welcome, and maintaining high service standards from check-in to check-out.
The ideal candidate will act as a brand ambassador, resolving inquiries efficiently and enhancing our hotel's reputation through superior guest relations management.
Requirements:
Guest Experience & Front Office Operations
Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional reception for all arriving guests, ensuring a world-class first impression.
Check-In/Check-Out: Facilitate seamless front desk operations, including swift registration, room assignment, and efficient check-out procedures.
Inquiry Management: Respond promptly and accurately to guest queries via phone, email, or in-person regarding hotel amenities, dining options, and local Ilorin attractions.
Concierge & Personalized Service
Guest Assistance: Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their stay.
Conflict Resolution: Handle guest complaints or special requests with diplomacy and professional urgency to ensure 100% satisfaction.
Communication: Coordinate with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams to ensure guest preferences are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in a Front Office, Customer Service, or Guest Relations role within the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Hotel Management Software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal skills with a "customer-first" mindset.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
