Job Description:

At JxWorx, we believe that complex engineering shouldn't feel complicated. We are looking for a versatile Lead Product Designer to own the visual and experiential soul of our products. You will lead the end-to-end design lifecycle: from architecting the brand identity and marketing presence to designing the mission-critical interfaces used to operate physical engineering equipment. This is a role for a designer who can think in "systems"—ensuring that a mobile app’s logic feels as sturdy and reliable as the hardware it controls.

Requirements:

1. UX Research & Experience Architecture

• User-Centric Strategy: Conduct deep-dive interviews with engineers and field users to uncover pain points in technical workflows.

• Journey Mapping: Translate complex engineering data into clear personas and user journey maps that prioritize safety and efficiency.

• Wireframing: Develop low-fidelity skeletons to validate logic and solve "heavy" technical problems before moving to visual design.

2. UI Design & Prototyping

• Cross-Platform Design: Create high-fidelity, pixel-perfect interfaces for iOS and Android, ensuring digital interactions mirror the physical ergonomics of our tools.

• Interactive Prototyping: Build advanced prototypes in Figma, Protopie, or Framer to test usability and logic flows, minimizing friction before development begins.

• System Management: Maintain and scale an internal Design System (tokens, components, icons) to ensure a unified brand language across all hardware and software touchpoints.

3. Graphic Design & Brand Identity

• Visual Storytelling: Own the creation of high-impact marketing assets, including social media graphics, high-stakes pitch decks, and product packaging.

• Technical Illustration: Translate complex machine schematics into clean, readable infographics and technical illustrations for user manuals.

• Brand Integrity: Ensure a consistent visual "voice" across digital interfaces, physical labels, and corporate communication.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.

• Tenure: 1+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design, ideally within a tech startup or engineering-heavy environment.

• Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating a mix of digital product design (apps/web) and high-quality graphic/brand design.

Technical Mastery

• Product Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma (primary), Protopie, or Framer.

• Creative Suite: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Engineering Empathy: A strong grasp of layout and color theory, with a unique ability to simplify "heavy" technical data into intuitive, "light" user experiences.
