Job Description:
- The Graduate Trainee (Engineering) is a structured early-career programme designed to develop high-potential engineering graduates into competent technical professionals capable of supporting the company's offshore and operational activities.
- Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive technical, operational, safety, and leadership development through structured classroom learning, on-the-job training, mentoring, and practical field exposure across their respective engineering disciplines.
- The programme is open to recent graduates in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Petroleum, and Chemical Engineering who demonstrate strong academic performance, learning agility, and a commitment to operational excellence and safety.
Responsibilities
- Participate fully in the Graduate Development Programme, including all assigned technical and professional development activities.
- Complete structured training, competency assessments, and rotational assignments across relevant operational functions.
- Support engineering, maintenance, drilling, and marine operations under the supervision of experienced professionals.
- Assist with equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.
- Observe and comply with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, operational records, and engineering documentation as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning throughout the programme.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned as part of the graduate development and succession planning process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng./B.Sc.) in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1). First Class graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- 0 – 1 year post-graduation experiencing abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated learning agility with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and work environments.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Willingness to work in offshore and operational environments where required.
