Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager, Operations (GMO) to provide strategic and operational leadership across our technical and business development functions. You will oversee our integrated services, including EPC project life cycles, specialized manpower supply for the oil and gas sector, and our growing CNG retail and conversion business. This role is designed for a seasoned leader who combines deep technical engineering expertise with proven business development acumen to drive market expansion and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Technical & Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the company’s technical strategy, fostering innovation and continuous improvement across all engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities.

• EPC Project Lifecycle: Manage end-to-end project execution—from bidding, tender preparation, and contract negotiation to detailed design, commissioning, and final handover.

• CNG Business Operations: Lead the deployment, optimization, and scaling of our CNG refueling network and vehicle conversion centers, ensuring strict adherence to national and international safety standards.

• Manpower & Technical Solutions: Direct the recruitment and certification of technical personnel, ensuring we deliver reliable, high-competency manpower solutions to our clients in the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.

• Business Development: Leverage your technical authority to spearhead contract acquisitions, represent the firm in high-level client engagements, and ensure technical-commercial alignment to increase our win rate.

• Governance & HSE: Enforce rigorous compliance with industry standards (e.g., NUPRC, NMDPRA, API, ASME, ISO), championing a "safety-first" culture across all operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, Civil, or related). A Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in EPC project delivery and technical operations within the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

• Professional Certification: Possession of relevant professional certifications such as COREN, PMP, or CEng is highly desirable.

• Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of local and international oil & gas regulations, codes, and compliance frameworks.

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong background in business development and securing large-scale service contracts.

  • Expertise in multi-disciplinary team leadership, including mentoring, coaching, and talent development.

  • Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
