Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary General Manager to lead our business operations in Lagos. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall health and strategic direction of the company. You will bridge the gap between high-level corporate objectives and daily operational execution, ensuring that every department is optimized for growth, efficiency, and peak productivity.
The ideal candidate is a strategic powerhouse with a proven track record of managing diverse teams, controlling complex budgets, and driving aggressive business development in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Requirements:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
Corporate Strategy: Develop and implement company-wide growth strategies that enhance market share and operational excellence.
Business Development: Identify and secure high-value strategic partnerships and new business opportunities to expand the company’s footprint.
Policy Governance: Ensure all operational activities strictly comply with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
Operational Oversight & Performance
Daily Operations: Oversee all business units to ensure daily workflows are efficient and aligned with the company’s core mission.
Departmental Synergy: Supervise department heads, fostering cross-functional collaboration and ensuring each unit meets its key performance indicators (KPIs).
Productivity Management: Drive organizational productivity by setting clear performance standards and managing staff output effectively.
Financial & Stakeholder Management
Financial Stewardship: Monitor financial performance, manage comprehensive budgets, and implement rigorous cost-control measures to maximize ROI.
Executive Reporting: Prepare and present detailed operational and strategic performance reports to top-level management and stakeholders.
Analytical Oversight: Utilize financial and operational data to make informed, high-stakes decisions that mitigate risk and capitalize on market trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a related field. (An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Seniority: 8–12 years of relevant experience in senior management or high-level leadership roles.
Industry Context: Prior experience in operations, business development, or logistics is highly advantageous.

Leadership: Exceptional ability to inspire, manage, and hold large teams accountable in a high-pressure environment.
Strategic Thinking: A "big-picture" mindset capable of identifying long-term trends and translating them into actionable plans.
