Job Description:

OneVERIFY is seeking a seasoned General Manager to serve as the strategic and operational engine of our digital identity ecosystem. In the RegTech sector, the "Product" is trust; therefore, the "Operation" must be flawless. This role is designed for a "Full-Stack Leader"—someone with the technical depth to oversee AI-driven verification products and the commercial grit to drive business performance across Nigeria’s evolving regulatory landscape.

Reporting to the Executive Leadership, your mission is to translate high-level vision into a high-performance reality. You will harmonize Tech, Product, Finance, and HR into a singular, scalable machine. If you possess 7–10 years of leadership in SaaS or Fintech and can manage the complexities of data privacy, system integrity, and cross-functional accountability, we want you to lead OneVERIFY.

Requirements:

1. Operational Excellence & Workflow Scalability

• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Oversee the daily operations of all departments, ensuring that Technology, Product, and Operations are synchronized to meet aggressive timelines.

• Process Automation: Implement best practices for workflow optimization and process automation to ensure the platform can scale without operational friction.

• Project Governance: Monitor budgets and project deliverables, maintaining absolute accountability for efficiency and quality standards.

2. Strategic Financial & Commercial Management

• Growth Alignment: Collaborate with Business Development to ensure that commercial expansion is supported by operational capacity and technical infrastructure.

• Fiscal Stewardship: Support budgeting, forecasting, and rigorous resource allocation to optimize operational expenses (OPEX) and drive profitability.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze organizational KPIs and performance metrics to identify untapped growth opportunities and operational bottlenecks.

3. People Leadership & Compliance Governance

• High-Performance Culture: Lead and mentor departmental heads, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and rapid professional growth.

• Trust & Risk Mitigation: Ensure 100% compliance with Nigerian data protection laws (NDPR), legal frameworks, and international cybersecurity standards.

• Talent Architecture: Identify talent gaps and lead succession planning to ensure the organization remains resilient as it scales.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or Engineering. A Master’s degree/MBA is highly preferred.

• Experience: 7–10 years in senior leadership roles within Tech, Fintech, or SaaS companies.

• Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Digital Identity, RegTech, and technology-driven operations.

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in modern project management, reporting tools, and exposure to AI-driven products.
