Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and commercially sophisticated General Manager to anchor the strategic leadership of our multi-unit operations in Port Harcourt. In the high-stakes sectors of Marine Dredging, Construction Equipment Leasing, and Engineering Services, success is defined by "Operational Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize heavy asset utilization with the clinical precision required to scale revenue within Nigeria’s Oil & Gas and infrastructure corridors. This role is designed for an "Executive Architect" with 10–15 years of experience who can blend "Industrial Grit" with the "Strategic Diplomacy" required to expand our market presence into new territories like Lagos.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Leadership & Market Transformation

• Growth Architecture: Develop and execute high-fidelity business strategies to achieve aggressive revenue targets and regional growth, including the strategic entry into the Lagos market.

• Relationship Stewardship: Manage and deepen "C-Suite" relationships within the Nigerian Oil & Gas and infrastructure sectors to secure high-value contracts and long-term partnerships.

• Business Intelligence: Identify "Blue Ocean" opportunities and emerging industry trends to pivot business units toward high-yield engineering and marine services.

2. Operational Excellence & Asset Governance

• Divisional Orchestration: Oversee the daily lifecycle of the construction, marine, and engineering divisions, ensuring zero-bottleneck synergy between business units.

• Asset Sovereignty: Ensure the optimal utilization and clinical maintenance of the company’s equipment fleet (leasing units, dredging vessels, etc.) to maximize ROI and minimize downtime.

• Regulatory Fidelity: Ensure 100% compliance with local and international safety (HSE), environmental, and industry-specific regulations, maintaining the firm’s "License to Operate."

3. Financial Stewardship & Human Capital Leadership

• Fiscal Governance: Lead all financial planning, budgeting, and aggressive cost-control initiatives to protect and expand profit margins.

• Command & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor senior management and departmental heads, fostering a culture of accountability, result-orientation, and operational discipline.

• Performance Velocity: Establish and monitor KPIs across all business units to ensure every division is contributing to the group’s overarching growth mandate.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred for strategic depth.

• Experience: 10–15 years of robust leadership experience specifically within Construction, Marine, or Oil & Gas services.

• Technical Breadth: Strong understanding of equipment leasing models, dredging operations, and multidisciplinary engineering services.
