Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Front Desk Manager to anchor the front-of-house engine for a new, ultra-modern hotel in Lagos. In a specialized launch landscapewhere institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the service-relay and the precision of the brand-filter success is defined by "Guest Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize high-end hospitality with the clinical precision required for Front Office Training, Shift Verification, and Budgetary Governance. This role is designed for an "Experience Architect" specifically a veteran professional with 4 years of experience who has risen through the cadre from Officer and Supervisor who can blend "Relational Grit" (resolving guest problems efficiently) with the "Operational Agility" required to execute Monthly Reporting and Housekeeping Inspections.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Personnel Governance
Sovereignty of the Front Office: Train, cross-train, and retrain all staff to meet exemplar hospitality standards, acting as the primary "Source of Service Excellence."
Operational Architecture: Direct and conduct all activities related to reservations and guest services, providing the "Structural Foundation" for the hotel’s launch phase.
Integrity Stewardship: Conduct scheduled shift meetings and verify all cashier deposits at each shift, ensuring the "Source of Revenue Security" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Quality Logic
Standard Sovereignty: Inspect all vacant clean rooms to ensure they meet the ultra-modern hotel standard, acting as the primary "Source of Product Fidelity."
Status Architecture: Verify accurate room status information and coordinate work schedules, providing the "Functional Foundation" for overall front-office efficiency.
Problem-Solving Stewardship: Resolve guest inquiries and problems with high-velocity courtesy, maintaining the "Source of Guest Satisfaction."
3. Operational Integrity & Coordination Power
Compliance Sovereignty: Manage guest expectations while complying with all legal requirements for lodging properties, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Fidelity."
Fiscal Architecture: Prepare monthly reports and budgets for front office operations, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-led management.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Computer Literacy and Leadership expertise to accelerate the "CheckIn-to-Departure" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Front-Desk Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Minimum of 4 years in the hospitality industry, with a proven career path through the cadre (Front Desk Officer -> Supervisor -> Manager).
Education: BA/BSc/HND or OND in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Technical Power: Highly computer literate; proficient in modern Hotel Management Systems (PMS).
Leadership: Strong background in training and managing cross-departmental relationships.
Aptitude: Capable of supervising team work schedules and guiding personnel through complex operational duties.
