Job Description:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment to support logistics, warehousing, and on-site operations in an oil and gas environment. The role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, proper handling of materials, and support for daily operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, stack, and transport materials, pipes, tools, and equipment.

• Ensure safe movement of goods within warehouses, workshops, and operational sites.

• Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklifts to ensure equipment readiness.

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during lifting and material handling activities.

• Assist in inventory management by ensuring materials are correctly stored and recorded.

• Report equipment defects, damages, or incidents promptly to supervisors.

• Support logistics and supply chain teams in mobilization/demobilization of project materials.

• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions.

• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in storage and work areas.

Requirements:

•  Knowledge of warehouse practices, material handling, and safety protocols.

• Ability to read load charts, understand lifting limits, and follow instructions.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Physically fit and able to work in demanding oil & gas environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications
• 4 years of experience.
