Job Description:
- The Floor & Event Manageris responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, coordinating internal teams, and managing successful execution of events hosted at other venues.
- The role ensures smooth service delivery, product availability, operational efficiency, and consistent adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Floor & Store Operations:
- Supervise and coordinate operational staff to ensure productivity and excellent service delivery.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure the store runs efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, safety, and presentation.
- Monitor customer flow and ensure timely order processing and service delivery.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bakery, bar, and service teams.
- Ensure availability, proper display, and quality of pastries, bakery products, and other offerings.
- Identify operational issues and provide quick solutions.
Team Management:
- Conduct daily briefings and assign responsibilities where required.
- Support staff training, development, and performance improvement.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive work culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure customers receive a premium and memorable experience.
- Handle customer feedback, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Support guest engagement and ensure service standards are consistently maintained.
- Assist customers with product recommendations and enquiries.
Event Management & Coordination:
- Coordinate private events, corporate functions, celebrations, and special bookings.
- Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and expectations.
- Prepare event schedules, staffing requirements, and operational plans.
- Coordinate event setup, service delivery, and breakdown.
- Work with vendors, decorators, entertainers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
Product & Quality Control:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking where necessary.
- Ensure products are properly stored, labelled, and presented.
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain freshness and consistency.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
Reporting:
- Provide daily operational reports covering sales activities, customer feedback, product availability, and challenges.
- Work with management to identify improvements and optimize operations.
- Monitor events and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
