Job Description:

CashXpress Nigeria Limited is seeking a high-level, strategic Financial Manager to lead our core financial architecture. You will be the architect of our fiscal strategy, overseeing everything from complex international taxation and regulatory compliance to high-level financial planning and corporate governance.

This is a senior-level role designed for a seasoned finance leader who understands the specific operational risks and growth patterns of the Fintech and digital lending landscape.

Requirements:

A. Financial Strategy & Reporting

• Direct the full-cycle preparation and management of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Lead the company’s budgeting, rolling forecasting, and long-range financial planning cycles.

• Monitor real-time cash flow, revenue health, and key financial performance metrics to drive executive decision-making.

B. Taxation & Regulatory Governance

• Serve as the lead strategist for all tax activities, including corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and complex international taxation matters.

• Design and implement tax-efficient organizational structures and risk-mitigation strategies.

• Maintain active mastery of evolving FIRS regulations, fintech-specific compliance laws, and cross-border financial policy shifts.

C. Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Build, review, and enforce robust financial policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Drive corporate governance and identify financial risk vectors, providing actionable mitigation plans to protect company capital.

D. Strategic Business Support

• Conduct financial feasibility studies to support company expansion and new product initiatives.

• Drive continuous cost-optimization and operational efficiency programs.

• Act as a key partner to cross-functional leadership, providing financial insights that accelerate company growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. An MBA or M.Sc. in Finance/Business Administration is a distinct advantage.

• Professional Charters: Mandatory: Possession of ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CFA, or CPA certification.

• Industry Experience: 5–8 years of proven, verifiable experience operating within a Financial Institution, Fintech company, Microfinance Bank, Digital Lending organization, or Payment Solution provider.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and cross-border financial regulations.

  • Practical experience applying IFRS reporting standards.

  • High proficiency in ERP software and advanced Excel modeling.
