Job Description:

We are seeking a high-integrity and detail-oriented Finance Officer to anchor the daily financial operations of our organization. In a high-growth business environment, success is defined by "Disbursement Accuracy", the ability to manage the accounts payable lifecycle while maintaining a pristine trail of financial documentation. This role is designed for an "Operational Accountant" with 2–3 years of experience who can blend "Meticulous Record Keeping" with the "Analytical Grit" required to support bank reconciliations and expense tracking.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Error Transaction Processing and Systematic Financial Compliance." You will be a core pillar of our finance department: responsible for invoice management, budget support, and the rigorous enforcement of internal fiscal policies. If you possess "Acute Attention to Detail," mastery of Microsoft Excel, and a commitment to professional accounting standards, we want you to drive our operational integrity.

Requirements:

1. Accounts Payable & Vendor Governance

  • Invoicing Management: Process vendor invoices with speed and accuracy, ensuring all payments are verified against delivery notes and purchase orders.

  • Disbursement Integrity: Manage accounts payable activities to maintain positive vendor relationships while optimizing the organization’s cash flow.

  • Expense Architecture: Support the tracking and categorization of company expenses to ensure alignment with departmental budgets.

2. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

  • General Ledger Stewardship: Maintain accurate, real-time financial records and documentation that serve as the "Source of Truth" for the organization.

  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist in the monthly reconciliation of bank statements to identify and resolve discrepancies immediately.

  • Reporting Support: Assist the senior finance team in preparing periodic financial reports, providing the data necessary for strategic decision-making.

3. Compliance & Budgetary Control

  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure that every financial transaction complies strictly with internal financial policies and standard accounting procedures.

  • Budget Oversight: Assist in the monitoring of budget utilization, flagging potential overages and supporting the annual budgeting cycle.

  • Audit Readiness: Maintain a highly organized filing system (physical and digital) to ensure the organization is always prepared for internal or external audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of progressive experience in a dedicated Finance or Accounting role.

  • Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with modern Accounting Software (e.g., SAGE, QuickBooks, or Odoo).
