Job Description:

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance department. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end financial health of our organization from rigorous budget planning and treasury management to regulatory compliance and operational cost control. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with deep expertise in the manufacturing sector, capable of providing actionable financial insights that drive profitability, support expansion, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our business.

Requirements:

• Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Direct the development and execution of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that align with organizational goals.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the timely preparation of financial statements and performance reports; provide business insights to support executive decision-making.

• Accounting & Cost Management: Manage all accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, and inventory accounting. Implement proactive cost-control measures to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

• Treasury & Risk Management: Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity. Manage banking relationships and foreign exchange requirements.

• Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to tax regulations (FIRS, State Taxes) and statutory requirements. Lead all internal, statutory, and regulatory audits.

• Business Partnering: Work collaboratively with production, procurement, sales, and HR to improve financial workflows and cross-departmental performance.

• Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Systems & Automation: Drive the modernization of finance processes through ERP system enhancements and automation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial capacity.

• Industry Expertise: Mandatory experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), financial reporting tools, and ERP systems.

  • Solid understanding of inventory management and production costing.
