Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and regulatory-savvy Finance Controller to anchor our Shared Services operations in Lekki-Ajah. In the specialized world of Outsourcing, success is defined by "Statutory Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex transfer pricing models with the millimetric precision required for Nigerian tax compliance (PAYE, Pension, VAT, WHT). This role is designed for a "Fiscal Architect" with 4–6 years of experience who can blend "Audit-Ready Accuracy" with the "Analytical Agility" required to manage financial flows across a diverse client base.
Requirements:
1. Statutory Compliance & Tax Governance
Filing Excellence: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Nigerian statutory compliance, ensuring 100% on-time and accurate remittances of PAYE, Pension, VAT, and WHT.
Regulatory Diplomacy: Serve as the primary liaison for tax audits and regulatory inquiries, ensuring the company maintains a transparent and "Low-Risk" status with the FIRS and LIRS.
Accuracy Oversight: Conduct rigorous monthly reconciliations of tax ledgers to ensure that all statutory obligations are accounted for with clinical precision.
2. Shared Services & Transfer Pricing Architecture
Intercompany Logic: Navigate the complexities of Transfer Pricing, ensuring that cross-entity charges and shared service costs are documented and executed in line with international and local standards.
Outsourcing Stewardship: Oversee the financial processing for outsourced operations, maintaining high-fidelity records that support smooth billing and resource allocation.
Process Engineering: Identify and implement improvements within the shared services model to increase cost-efficiency and reporting velocity.
3. Financial Control & Reporting Integrity
Ledger Sovereignty: Prepare and review high-quality management accounts and financial statements that reflect the true health of the shared services unit.
Fiscal Vigilance: Monitor budgetary performance and cash flow, providing management with actionable insights to optimize the outsourcing profit margins.
Documentation Stewardship: Maintain a meticulous archive of financial contracts, intercompany agreements, and compliance certificates for rapid retrieval during audits.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Certification: ACA or ACCA (Newly Qualified or Finalist status is required).
Experience: 4–6 years of robust accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with prior Shared Services or Outsourcing exposure.
