Are you a highly organized professional with a knack for numbers and a polished, welcoming demeanor? We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance & Admin Officer to join our team in Abuja. In this dual-function role, you will be the face of our firm while ensuring our financial records remain meticulous and audit-ready.
Requirements:
Front Desk & Office Excellence
Professional Reception: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guests, and callers, ensuring every interaction reflects our premium brand standards.
Office Operations: Manage the reception area, oversee visitor logs, and handle all incoming/outgoing correspondence, post, and courier services.
Administrative Support: Assist the Administration & Operations Manager with meeting logistics, office supplies procurement, and daily coordination.
Document Management: Maintain orderly and secure physical and digital filing systems for efficient retrieval.
Finance & Bookkeeping Support
Payment Processing: Manage the end-to-end payment requisition flow, verifying forms and receipts before routing for approval.
Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate cashbooks and trackers, and ensure petty cash records are consistently reconciled.
Invoicing & Documentation: Proactively track invoices, receipts, and reimbursements, following up on any missing documentation.
Month-End Assistance: Support the Chief Operating Officer with month-end reporting, basic financial summaries, and maintaining audit-ready files on our cloud-based storage system.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bookkeeping Aptitude: Strong numeracy skills and comfort with financial reconciliation. (While a formal accounting qualification is an asset, it is not mandatory).
Relevant Experience: Prior experience in front-desk, administrative, or finance-support roles, particularly within professional services, legal, or financial firms.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and specifically Google Sheets).
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills with a warm, polished professional manner.
Organization: Proven ability to balance front-desk reception duties with precise financial tasks.
Discretion: A high level of integrity is non-negotiable; you will handle sensitive financial and client data with strict confidentiality.
Tech-Forward Mindset: A proactive willingness to embrace AI and modern technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
