Job Description:
Implement operational and maintenance procedures for company assets deployed at client sites, ensuring consistent performance and compliance with technical standards.
Requirements:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure:
- Achievement of minimum system uptime of 99.5%
- Site operating costs including diesel usage, consumables, and grid power remain within approved budgets.
- Clients adhere to agreed operational procedures and designated operating hours.
- Timely and accurate billing and collections in coordination with the Finance team.
- Adoption of best?practice maintenance standards for all assets, including diesel and gas generators, batteries, inverters, and solar panels, to maximize equipment life cycle.
- Remain available and willing to travel to various sites across Nigeria based on operational requirements
- Ensure strict compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) protocols during all on?site activities.
- Conduct installation, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and corrective maintenance activities as assigned.
- Keep accurate service records, site reports, and maintenance logs for internal and client use.
- Support customer relations through professional communication and timely resolution of technical issues.
- Coordinate with internal units (Projects, NOC, SCM, QHSE, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery
- Working condition:
- Approximately 5% of time shall be spent in office environments with the remaining time in the field.
- Physical requirements:
- The Engineer shall be capable of lifting up to 20kg; stand for an extended period of time; work in outdoor environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in equipment maintenance, power systems, or renewable energy operations.
- Must have good knowledge of diesel generators and rectifier system
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer?facing skills.
