Job Description:
Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot oilfield equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, compressors, drilling and production tools).
Conduct routine servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Provide technical support during drilling, completion, and production operations.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and carry out corrective action.
Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure service quality and timely delivery.
Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation of all field operations.
Ensure compliance with company, client, and industry HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
Train operators and client personnel on proper usage and handling of equipment.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or OEM representatives as needed.
Manage spare parts, tools, and service equipment effectively.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with oilfield service equipment (drilling tools, production systems, well intervention equipment, etc.).
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with industry standards (API, ISO) and oilfield HSE regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel extensively and work in remote/onshore/offshore locations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician in the oil & gas industry.
