Job Description:

  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot oilfield equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, compressors, drilling and production tools).

  • Conduct routine servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Provide technical support during drilling, completion, and production operations.

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, and carry out corrective action.

  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure service quality and timely delivery.

  • Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and documentation of all field operations.

  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and industry HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.

  • Train operators and client personnel on proper usage and handling of equipment.

  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or OEM representatives as needed.

  • Manage spare parts, tools, and service equipment effectively.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with oilfield service equipment (drilling tools, production systems, well intervention equipment, etc.).

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

  • Familiarity with industry standards (API, ISO) and oilfield HSE regulations.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in remote/onshore/offshore locations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician in the oil & gas industry.
