Job Description:
We are seeking high-velocity and intellectually elite Field Pharmacists to anchor our medical engine in Monguno and Magumeri, Borno. In complex humanitarian settings, success is defined by "Supply Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize clinical treatment delivery with the millimetric precision required for Good Storage Practices (GSP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and forensic-level stock management. This role is designed for a "Clinical Architect" with a B.Pharm or Pharm.D and 2+ years of experience who can blend "Logistical Grit" (receiving, storing, and physical inventory) with the "Technical Agility" required to conduct pharmacovigilance and epidemiological stock analysis.
Requirements:
1. Inventory Orchestration & GSP Governance
Stock Sovereignty: Manage the pharmacy stock according to Good Storage Practices (alphabetic order, category, and expiry), ensuring the "Source of Integrity" for all medical items.
FEFO Logic: Enforce strict FEFO (First Expired, First Out) protocols with clinical precision, acting as the primary guard against the "Economic and Clinical Waste" of expired medication.
Forensic Inventory: Conduct monthly physical inventories of drugs, laboratory materials, and consumables, providing a "Source of Truth" for the global stock inventory.
2. Supply Chain Resilience & Analytical Logic
Consumption Architecture: Calculate average monthly consumption and minimal stock levels with millimetric accuracy, identifying the "Source of Need" for each project.
Order Logic: Prepare high-fidelity supply requests by verifying the quantity and quality of incoming materials, informing the central pharmacy of any non-compliance or "Source of Friction."
Epidemiological Synergy: Work synchronously with medical doctors to assess the appropriateness of prescriptions against epidemiological data, ensuring "Clinical Alignment" in stock usage.
3. Treatment Delivery & Pharmacovigilance Power
Dispensing Sovereignty: Deliver treatments according to medical prescriptions with professional poise, providing the "Source of Knowledge" for patients regarding posology and precautions.
Safety Architecture: Ensure absolute pharmacovigilance, including the immediate reporting of drug quality issues in accordance with INTERSOS pharmaceutical management procedures.
Quarantine Governance: Organize the effective destruction or quarantine of damaged items with clinical speed, ensuring the "Source of Contamination" is removed from the active stock.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
Certification: Registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) with a valid current license.
Experience: At least 2 years of robust experience in similar or relevant clinical/field positions.
Core Competencies
Analytical Grit: Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel, and Internet) for high-fidelity stock tracking and data analysis.
Communication Power: Fluency in the Mission Language (English) is essential; proficiency in Local Languages (Hausa/Kanuri) is highly desirable for patient diplomacy.
Values Alignment: Deep commitment to INTERSOS principles and PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) policies.
