Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically resilient Fiber Installation Support Technician to anchor the infrastructure engine of our Lagos operations. In the specialized landscape of telecommunications where urban connectivity depends on the integrity of the physical layer success is defined by "Connectivity Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize rugged fieldwork with the clinical precision required for ISP Service Configuration, Router Optimization, and Trenchless Installation Techniques. This role is designed for a "Network Architect" who can blend "Civil Grit" (pulling cables through ducts and trenches) with the "Technical Agility" required to diagnose complex connectivity disruptions.

Requirements:

1. Infrastructure Orchestration & Deployment Governance

  • Deployment Sovereignty: Assist teams with day-to-day fiber installation tasks with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Physical Connectivity."

  • Civil Architecture: Lay HDPE ducts, secure conduits, and support thrust boring operations, providing the "Structural Foundation" for the fiber backbone.

  • Integrity Stewardship: Run fiber cables through complex urban environments (trenches and buildings), ensuring the "Source of Signal Integrity" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Configuration Logic

  • Installation Sovereignty: Attend customer premises to configure routers, modems, and networking equipment, acting as the primary "Source of Last-Mile Connectivity."

  • Performance Architecture: Test and verify speeds and reliability standards post-setup, providing the "Functional Foundation" for high-quality ISP service.

  • Troubleshooting Stewardship: Diagnose and resolve network disruptions or equipment malfunctions in real-time, maintaining the "Source of Service Uptime."

3. Operational Integrity & Customer Power

  • Service Sovereignty: Interact professionally with customers and educate them on equipment maintenance, acting as the primary "Source of Brand Reputation."

  • Quality Architecture: Perform audits and quality checks to identify deficiencies, providing the "Relational Foundation" for long-term customer satisfaction.

  • Velocity Logic: Utilize knowledge of networking protocols and diagnostic tools to prioritize field tasks, maximizing the "Source of Infrastructure Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Technical Certifications are a distinct advantage.

  • Experience: Proven experience in Fiber Installation, Civil Works, or ISP Network Installations.

  • Technical Power: Knowledge of routers, switches, cabling, and various operating systems (Windows/Linux/macOS).

  • Capability: Good physical fitness to lift equipment and work in challenging field environments; Valid Driver’s License.
