We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
The accountant will be responsible to:
- Inspect financial records to ensure accuracy and overall legal and regulatory compliance.
- Calculate taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and complete financial tax transactions.
- Balance the company budget.
- Look out for inefficiencies and make recommendations to management.
- Ensure financial statements are organized and always maintained.
- Create regulatory reports for internal auditors.
- Notify management of any non-compliant employee financial practices.
- Present all financial findings to management, i.e., prepare written reports and attend face-to-face meetings for review.
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
- Handle general account queries.
- Handle Branch payee deductions
- Preparation of payroll.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- 7 years of previous experience as a corporate Accountant.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Minimum of a Second-Class Upper Degree in Accounting.
Skills and Competency:
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to prepare spreadsheets.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Ability to use accounting software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. Etc.
Salary
