Job Description:
We are seeking an intellectually rigorous and operationally proactive Special Assistant to support a serial entrepreneur with diverse interests in Finance, Audit, Real Estate, and Strategic Investments. This is not a traditional administrative role; it is a position for a "Finance-First" strategist who can act as a trusted extension of the Principal. You will be responsible for ensuring that every number is accurate, every meeting is briefed, and every hour of the Principal’s time is optimized. If you are grounded in accounting, obsessed with numerical integrity, and an expert at leveraging AI to automate workflows, this role offers unparalleled exposure to high-level deal-making and business operations.
Requirements:
1. Numerical Rigor & Financial Controllership
Financial Stewardship: Apply sound accounting principles to manage expense tracking, invoice reviews, and complex reconciliations across multiple ventures.
Audit Readiness: Maintain structured, traceable, and auditable financial records, ensuring all working papers and schedules are ready for management or external review.
Accuracy Oversight: Proactively identify discrepancies or anomalies in financial data, ensuring absolute numerical integrity in every report.
2. Analytical Decision Support
Data Synthesis: Transform large volumes of raw numerical and performance data into clear, concise dashboards and executive summaries.
Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated spreadsheets and trackers to analyze trends, variances, and investment performance.
Strategic Briefing: Conduct in-depth research on finance and operational topics, synthesizing complex information into "decision-ready" briefs.
3. Operational Excellence & Tech Optimization
AI & Automation Mastery: Leverage AI tools and automation platforms to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance reporting speed.
Strategic Gatekeeping: Manage complex calendars across multiple business interests, prioritizing engagements based on risk, urgency, and impact.
Logistics & Coordination: Oversee high-stakes travel and engagements with total foresight, ensuring the Principal is briefed and prepared for every interaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical & Numerical Profile
Education: BSc in Accounting, Statistics, Banking & Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience: 2–3 years in accounting, audit, or finance-heavy executive support.
Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and 2–3 years of hands-on experience with AI and automation tools.
Financial Background: A deep-rooted understanding of accounting principles (candidates from an accounting/finance background are highly preferred).
Core Competencies
Analytical Reasoning: Ability to apply logic across multiple domains (Real Estate, Finance, Audit).
