Job Description:

  • The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of event spaces, meetings, conferences, and social functions.
  • This role focuses on building client relationships, managing event bookings, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients and hotel operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities for events, conferences, weddings, and corporate meetings
  • Manage incoming inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
  • Conduct site inspections and present hotel facilities to potential clients
  • Develop customized event proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Collaborate with internal teams (banquet, catering, operations) to ensure successful event execution
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, event management, or hospitality industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
