Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Machinery Engineer / Specialist II to anchor the mechanical integrity engine of our QIT operations in Akwa Ibom. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the maintenance cycle and the precision of the design specification success is defined by "Mechanical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex machinery systems with the clinical precision required for Reliability Improvement, Equipment Specification, and Contractor Oversight. This role is designed for a "Reliability Architect", specifically a Mechanical Engineering graduate who can blend "Technical Grit" (evaluating contractor discipline work) with the "Strategic Agility" required to reduce maintenance costs while increasing plant uptime.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Technical Governance
Oversight Sovereignty: Evaluate and comment on internal and contractor discipline work with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Specification Compliance."
Design Architecture: Facilitate engineering and design routines that align with team objectives, providing the "Structural Foundation" for equipment integrity.
Integrity Stewardship: Ensure work is executed in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the "Source of Operational Safety" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Reliability Logic
Reliability Sovereignty: Proactively seek improvements to increase equipment uptime, acting as the primary "Source of Cost-Effective Maintenance."
Specification Architecture: Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry design practices, providing the "Functional Foundation" for long-term operational health.
Communication Stewardship: Assure accurate and timely communication across company functions, maintaining the "Source of Technical Alignment."
3. Operational Integrity & Systems Power
Multidisciplinary Sovereignty: Work in a team environment with operations and mechanical personnel, acting as the primary "Source of Inter-Departmental Synergy."
Resource Architecture: Utilize Microsoft Office and engineering design standards to manage technical communications, providing the "Relational Foundation" for business reporting.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Level 2 technical ability to adapt to tight deadlines and shifting priorities, maximizing the "Source of Engineering Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related specialty.
Knowledge Base: Strong mastery of Design Standards, Specifications, Codes, and safety criteria.
Communication Power: Fluent in technical and business English with elite facilitation skills.
Adaptability: Proven ability to handle heavy workloads and frequent changes in priority.
