Job Description:
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Executive to anchor our expansion in the Kano territory. If you have a passion for the healthcare sector and the sales acumen to connect top-tier medical solutions with the institutions that need them, this role is for you. You will be the face of our brand, responsible for identifying untapped opportunities, closing deals, and building long-term partnerships with healthcare providers across the region.
Requirements:
Market Development: Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through a mix of networking, cold calling, and social selling.
Consultative Sales: Demonstrate product features and value propositions for specialized equipment, furniture, and mobility aids to healthcare administrators, procurement officers, and clinical heads.
Revenue Growth: Negotiate pricing and contracts, consistently working to exceed assigned sales targets.
Relationship Management: Build trust-based relationships to ensure high customer retention and repeat business.
Strategic Reporting: Analyze market trends and competitor movements; submit clear, data-driven weekly/monthly sales reports.
Operational Alignment: Collaborate with internal fulfillment teams to ensure that the products you sell are delivered and installed to the client’s satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Industry Expertise: Proven experience in sales representation within the medical equipment, consumables, or healthcare industry.
Product Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of the medical supply chain, specifically hospital furniture, consumables, and rehabilitation aids.
Core Competencies:
Communication: Expert interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Sales Performance: A proven track record in business development, negotiation, and closing high-value deals.
Analytical Aptitude: Ability to interpret market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting/CRM tools.
