Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and safety-conscious Electrician to anchor the power infrastructure at our Lekki facility. In a modern Lagos environment, success is defined by "Electrical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex power generation (including renewable energy) with the clinical precision required for circuit maintenance and lighting control. This role is designed for a "Technical Architect" with 2–3 years of experience who can blend "Blueprint Logic" with the "Operational Grit" required to troubleshoot transformers, circuit breakers, and HVAC electrical components.

Requirements:

1. Infrastructure Orchestration & Installation

• System Deployment: Install and configure electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems with millimetric precision, ensuring every connection meets high-fidelity performance standards.

• Blueprint Synthesis: Read and interpret complex technical diagrams and blueprints to guide installations and ensure alignment with the master building design.

• Power Generation Support: Maintain a deep understanding of power generation systems, including emerging Renewable Energy technologies (Solar/Inverter systems), to ensure sustainable energy flow.

2. Diagnostic Governance & Corrective Maintenance

• Clinical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing devices (multimeters, circuit analyzers), ensuring zero-delay in identifying root causes of power fluctuations.

• Component Stewardship: Inspect and maintain high-value assets, including transformers and circuit breakers, performing periodic corrective maintenance to prevent catastrophic system failure.

• HVAC Synergy: Maintain the electrical components of heating and air conditioning systems, ensuring environmental control units operate at peak efficiency.

3. Regulatory Fidelity & Safety Engineering

• Compliance Sovereignty: Ensure all electrical work adheres strictly to the National Electrical Code, as well as state and local Lagos building regulations.

• Safety Vigilance: Inspect wiring and fixtures regularly, repairing or replacing degraded equipment to eliminate risks of fire or electrical shock.

• Equipment Maintenance: Keep all electrical testing gear and tools in "Ready-to-Use" condition, ensuring the accuracy of every diagnostic reading.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: OND, Technical College Degree, or High School Diploma/FSLC.

• Experience: 2–3 years of robust experience as a field electrician, with a proven track record in complex troubleshooting.

• Training: Completion of a recognized Electrician Apprenticeship program.

• Specialization: Experience in Renewable Energy and power generation is highly valued.

• Technical Grit: Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, and blueprint reading.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code and safety protocols.

• Operational Agility: Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to work onsite in Lekki.
