It acquired and set up a cocoa product factory in Idanre for the production of Oluji Pure Cocoa Powder, Johnvents Chocolate drink, Cocoa Pops, Cocoa Cube, and other cocoa-based consumer products. 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our production facility in Idanre, Ondo State. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our plant’s electrical infrastructure and production machinery to ensure optimal operational uptime. Requirements:

• Maintenance Management: Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems, utility equipment, and production machinery.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on mixing, processing, and high-speed packaging equipment.

• Power Systems: Oversee the maintenance of power distribution systems, including generators, transformers, electrical panels, and control systems.

• Automation Support: Ensure the correct operation, programming, and troubleshooting of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial control systems.

• Project Support: Assist in the installation, integration, and commissioning of new production equipment and automation upgrades.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with HSE and industrial electrical safety standards.

• Documentation & Efficiency: Maintain accurate technical logs/documentation and actively support site-wide energy efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.

• Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with the Stores and Procurement departments to manage the availability of critical electrical spare parts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Eng. Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in PLCs, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems.

  • Expertise in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and industrial power distribution.

  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation and control panels.

• Safety Knowledge: Solid understanding of HSE policies and electrical safety regulations.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting/analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and the capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
