Job Description:

  • Design, implement, and oversee education projects in line with LHI’s strategic objectives.

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify educational gaps and propose interventions.

  • Coordinate school outreach programs, teacher training workshops, and community learning initiatives.

  • Support literacy, numeracy, child protection, and inclusive education programs.

  • Engage with government education agencies, donors, and local partners to strengthen program delivery.

  • Supervise and mentor education facilitators, volunteers, and field officers.

  • Monitor and evaluate project activities, collect data, and prepare accurate progress reports.

  • Support resource mobilization through proposal writing, donor reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Advocate for access to quality education, especially for vulnerable groups such as girls, children with disabilities, and out-of-school children.

  • Ensure compliance with LHI policies, donor requirements, and national education standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in education program management, preferably in NGOs/nonprofit organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigeria’s education sector, policies, and challenges.
  • Experience in project design, curriculum development, teacher training, and community mobilization.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and education program monitoring tools.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
