Job Description:

We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Graduate Trainee – Accounting to become an integral part of our Finance team. This is a hands-on, developmental role designed for high-potential individuals who are eager to build a rock-solid foundation in corporate finance. You will gain direct exposure to the entire accounting cycle—from daily operational entries to high-level financial reporting and audit support within a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements:

• Accounting Operations: Gain practical experience in the full cycle of bookkeeping, including posting journal entries, managing Accounts Payable/Receivable, and performing meticulous bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, conduct general ledger reviews, and participate in the critical process of data gathering and discrepancy resolution.

• Audit & Compliance: Act as a key support pillar during internal and external audit cycles. You will ensure that all financial documentation is audit-ready and compliant with both internal controls and external regulatory standards.

• Operational Support: Maintain the backbone of our financial records through organized filing systems and cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring the Finance team functions with peak efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (inclusive of NYSC or structured internships).

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel mastery is highly valued).

  • Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a significant advantage.
