Job Description:

• The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and other approved activities while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and school transportation policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on designated routes and schedules.
• Conduct routine inspections of the school bus before and after trips.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students while on board.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and school transportation policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Report vehicle faults, accidents, incidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections.
• Assist with student boarding and disembarking where necessary.
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with students, parents, and school staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving buses or commercial vehicles.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to remain calm and responsible in emergency situations.
• Physically fit and capable of handling transportation responsibilities.
