Job Description:
Primary Role
The Offshore Installation (OI) Site Advisor for Drilling Rigs plays a key role in supporting offshore drilling operations with a strong focus on Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE). Stationed at the rig site, the Advisor acts as the main SSHE liaison for all rig-based drilling activities, driving safety initiatives and addressing drill team inquiries and compliance needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to performing all Level 1 and 2 responsibilities, a Level 3 Site Advisor will:

Manage and implement the company’s on-site safety awareness, recognition, and incentive programs.

Collaborate effectively with local/national workforce teams to identify safety trends.

Develop proactive safety initiatives and programs aimed at maintaining a zero-incident, injury-free work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:
Skills & Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health is preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience in a related safety role.

Deep understanding of drilling operations, processes, and industry safety standards.

Strong organizational skills with sound technical judgment.

Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within diverse teams.

Skilled at engaging and positively influencing both company employees and contracted drilling personnel.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent command of written and spoken English, especially in technical and business contexts.

Comfortable working in multicultural environments and international locations.

Previous experience in onshore and/or offshore drilling operations is highly advantageous.

Committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in all activities.

Able to adapt to challenging environments—extreme weather, remote sites, and evolving operational needs.

Open to extended travel or remote assignments as required.

Physically capable of performing duties in demanding offshore or onshore drilling settings, including climbing ladders, standing for long periods, and navigating uneven terrain.
