Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Engineer to join our development team in Ikeja. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling high-performance backend systems that power our core business applications.

You aren't just a "coder"—you are a software architect who understands the importance of clean code, security, and scalability. You will work within an Agile environment to deliver robust APIs and microservices that integrate seamlessly with modern frontend frameworks and cloud infrastructures. Requirements:

1. Core Backend Development

• Scalable Architecture: Design and develop high-performance, reliable, and maintainable backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.

• API Excellence: Build and document RESTful or gRPC APIs that allow for seamless integration with mobile and web platforms.

• Database Management: Optimize complex SQL queries and manage relational databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL) ensuring high data integrity and performance.

2. Cloud & Microservices Evolution

• Distributed Systems: Design and implement microservices architectures that utilize message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka for asynchronous communication.

• Cloud Integration: Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), utilizing containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Security First: Implement secure authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT) to protect sensitive user data.

3. Engineering Quality & DevOps

• Test-Driven Development (TDD): Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code reliability and minimize regression.

• CI/CD Pipelines: Participate in the maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and safe code deployment.

• Code Review: Engaged in peer code reviews to maintain high coding standards and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on the .NET Ecosystem.

• Language Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET 6/7/8+ framework.

Technical Competencies

• Frameworks: Deep knowledge of ASP.NET Core (Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ).

• Database: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL and performance tuning.

• Frontend Knowledge: Basic understanding of modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) is a plus.

• Tools: Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, and Docker.
