Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and board-certified Dermatologist to join our clinical team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert medical and cosmetic skin care to a diverse patient base. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, ranging from chronic inflammatory diseases to acute infections and skin malignancies.

The ideal candidate is a clinician who combines profound medical expertise with a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every individual receives a tailored and effective treatment plan.

Requirements:

Clinical Diagnosis & Treatment

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough consultations to diagnose skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and pigmentary disorders.

• Specialized Care: Manage chronic skin diseases and provide advanced treatments for hair loss and nail disorders.

• Surgical Procedures: Perform essential dermatological procedures, including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and the surgical removal of benign or malignant lesions.

Cosmetic & Preventive Dermatology

• Aesthetic Consultation: Provide expert guidance on cosmetic treatments and skincare regimens tailored to various skin types and aging concerns.

• Skin Cancer Screening: Conduct routine screenings for skin cancer and educate patients on sun protection and preventive measures.

• Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced dermatological equipment and stay updated on the latest therapeutic interventions and pharmacological advancements.

Patient Relations & Communication

• Consultative Approach: Communicate complex medical information clearly, ensuring patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes.

• Record Management: Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with medical regulations.

• Collaborative Care: Work alongside other medical specialists to provide integrated care for patients with systemic diseases manifesting skin symptoms.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Certification

• Medical Degree: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) or equivalent from a recognized institution.

• Specialization: Fellowship or Residency training in Dermatology (e.g., FWACP, NPMCN, or equivalent international board certification).

• Licensure: Valid and current license to practice medicine from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) or relevant regional body.

Experience & Skills

• Clinical Expertise: Strong, verifiable experience in clinical dermatology, skin surgery, and patient management.

• Professionalism: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in patient care.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient interaction and professional reporting.
