Job Description:
Are you a skilled technician with a passion for precision? We are looking for a dedicated Dental Technologist to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will act as a "smile architect," transforming dental impressions into functional, natural-looking appliances that empower patients to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
Requirements:
Fabrication: Design and create high-quality dental and orthodontic appliances tailored to specific patient needs.
Collaboration: Partner closely with dentists to accurately interpret prescriptions and ensure exact specifications are met.
Technology Integration: Leverage both traditional techniques and cutting-edge digital workflows, including CAD/CAM design and milling.
Maintenance: Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for consistent quality.
Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate case records to ensure full traceability and quality control.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Diploma or Degree (BA/BSc/HND/OND) in Dental Technology from an accredited institution.
Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a professional dental laboratory setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in both manual fabrication and digital dental technologies. Experience with CAD/CAM systems is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, a passion for precision craftsmanship, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Mindset: A collaborative and adaptable approach to complex dental cases.
