Job Description:
Support the design and use of data collection tools, templates, and databases for projects.
Collect, enter, and validate data from field activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Maintain updated program databases and filing systems (both digital and hard copy).
Clean, analyze, and prepare data for reporting to donors, management, and stakeholders.
Work closely with MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) staff to ensure timely data submission from field teams.
Generate periodic data summaries, dashboards, and visualizations to inform program performance.
Train field staff, volunteers, and community structures on data collection tools and processes.
Ensure data confidentiality, security, and compliance with LHI’s safeguarding and data protection policies.
Support program evaluations, assessments, and surveys (baseline, midline, and endline).
Participate in program review meetings, providing evidence-based insights.
Identify and troubleshoot data-related challenges, offering timely solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in data management, M&E, or related roles (NGO/INGO experience preferred).
Strong skills in data collection, entry, cleaning, and analysis.
Proficiency in data software/tools such as Excel, KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare, SPSS, or STATA.
Knowledge of database management systems and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
