As a Data Engineering Lead, you will craft robust, scalable systems that support our business intelligence and data-driven operations. Requirements:

Architecting & Scaling Data Systems

• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust data pipelines capable of processing large volumes of data across the full stream, enrichment, and curation process.

• Optimization: Continuously update and optimize our data platform for maximum speed, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

• Infrastructure Management: Manage source code locations and utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools where applicable to ensure stable environments.

Advanced Analytics & Innovation

• Data Analysis: Analyze massive datasets using Python and SQL to extract actionable business insights.

• ML & AI Integration: Investigate and utilize Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to enhance our cloud offerings and data capabilities.

• Performance Monitoring: Develop processes and tools to monitor data accuracy and analyze model performance.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentorship: Lead and develop junior staff members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Coordinate with various functional teams to identify, understand, and meet their specific data needs.

• Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for solving general and complex data-related challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

Core Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer (exceptional accomplishments may be considered in lieu of time).

• Technical Mastery:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • Proven experience with Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

  • Mastery of version control tools such as Git.

• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive drive to master new technologies.

Preferred Skills (A Plus)

• Experience with Data Governance frameworks.

• Proven track record in building and deploying Machine Learning models.

• Proficiency with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
