Job Description:
Optimus Bank is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to deliver excellent service, ensure operational efficiency, and promote digital adoption within the branch. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high service standards while supporting customer needs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt and effective service delivery across all customer service units.
- Maintain efficient Turnaround Time (TAT) in line with established service level agreements.
- Process customer requests accurately and without errors.
- Execute end-of-day procedures on time, including generating required reports.
- Ensure optimal use of physical assets within the customer service unit.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Enforce zero tolerance for fraud and prevent regulatory infractions.
- Manage costs effectively to maintain efficiency in customer service sub-units.
- Perform account maintenance tasks such as account upgrades/updates, stop cheque orders, standing instructions, internet banking setups, and account restriction management.
- Drive digital adoption within the branch to align with the bank’s strategy.
- Maintain and regularly update customer files in accordance with compliance requirements.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor of either Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ banking experience in Branch Operations.
