Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Analyst to join our finance team in Ikeja. In this high-impact role, you will act as the guardian of our cost efficiency, providing the data-driven insights necessary to optimize our operational expenses and enhance overall profitability. If you are an expert in financial modeling, thrive on uncovering trends in complex datasets, and possess the ability to translate financial figures into actionable business strategy, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Cost Tracking & Variance Analysis: Meticulously monitor actual expenses against budgets, performing root-cause analysis on discrepancies to ensure financial discipline.

• Financial Modeling: Design robust pricing structures and cost models for our products, services, and operational processes to drive competitive advantage.

• Forecasting & Budgeting: Play a lead role in the annual budget cycle, leveraging historical performance and market trends to deliver accurate financial forecasts.

• Process Improvement: Proactively audit operational processes (labor, materials, overheads) to identify inefficiencies and champion cost-saving strategies.

• Strategic Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with procurement, technical, and operations teams to bridge the gap between operational activities and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative/engineering discipline.

• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in cost accounting, supply chain finance, or financial analysis.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Data Analysis: Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet modeling (Excel/Google Sheets) and data visualization.

  • ERP Systems: Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is essential.
