Job Description:
- As a Contract Manager, you play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients in line with contractual agreements. You ensure smooth execution across managerial, operational and technical aspects, while keeping a strong focus on client satisfaction and solid financial performance.
- Throughout the contract lifecycle, you act as a trusted partner—driving efficiency, maintaining oversight, and ensuring outcomes that meet both client expectations and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that operations are performed in a professional, efficient and cost effective manner.
- Establish and maintain good working relationship with the Client.
- Make sure that the contractual obligations are met to the full satisfaction of the customer.
- Conduct regular performance review meetings on basis of pre-agreed performance parameters.
- Ensure all operations are undertaken in a safe and secure manner and in full compliance with the company’s SLIMS policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all operational and vessel personnel comply with all relevant regulations as well as Operational and SHEQ policies and procedures and that non-compliance is analyzed, evaluated and corrective/preventive actions are swiftly being taken.
- In close cooperation with HR you will provide a dequate training and development of all staff under responsibility.
- Conduct annual performance appraisals of shore staff, Captains working on board the tugs in the contract and appraisal of chief engineers along with the technical department.
- Provide input to annual budgets and monthly/quarterly performance reports and monitor the financial performance of the contract and ensure the contract budget is being achieved.
Requirements:
- For this position we are looking for a candidate who already lives in Nigeria.
- Relevant marine operating experience.
- Preferably sea-going experience as Master, Chief Officer or Chief Engineer.
- In-depth understanding and experience of Marine Industry and Terminal Operations.
- Onshore management experience.
