Job Description:
The Content Creator / Video Editor is responsible for producing compelling, high-quality visual content that elevates the brand’s online presence and supports marketing objectives. This role demands strong storytelling skills, technical expertise in video editing, and a creative approach to content development across multiple digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Creates, shoots, and edits engaging video content for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
Develops and executes creative content ideas in alignment with the brand’s tone, style, and marketing goals.
Edits raw video footage into polished, professional content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
Designs motion graphics, adds captions, sound effects, and transitions to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
Collaborates with the marketing team to plan content calendars and brainstorm innovative campaign concepts.
Optimizes videos for various platforms, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others.
Maintains an organized library of multimedia assets for easy access and reuse.
Stays updated on emerging video trends, platform algorithms, and content best practices.
Occasionally produces static visual content or assists with photo editing when required.
Requirements:
Proven track record in video editing and digital content creation.
Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
Strong visual storytelling abilities, excellent camera skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and an understanding of what type of content performs best on each.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Solid understanding of brand aesthetics and fundamental marketing principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or certification in Media, Film, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 1–3 years of experience in content creation and video editing.
- Portfolio or samples of previous work required with application.
