Job Description:

Detail and Avedia Limited is seeking an experienced, strategic, and operations-focused Content & Publishing Manager to lead our publishing division. You will serve as the operational anchor for our publishing arm, managing the entire lifecycle of our projects from the first editorial draft to final distribution on bookstore shelves. If you have a passion for books, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to manage complex relationships with authors, printers, and distributors, this role offers a high-impact opportunity to scale our market presence and drive revenue.

Requirements:

• Publishing Business Management: Lead daily operations, drive commercial success, and develop strategies to expand market reach and create new revenue streams.

• Production & Quality Assurance: Manage the end-to-end book production process. Coordinate with designers, editors, and print vendors to ensure all materials are high-quality, accurate, and delivered on schedule.

• Distribution & Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with bookstores, distributors, and educational institutions. You will be responsible for expanding our footprint and ensuring our products are widely available.

• Inventory & Consignment Control: Oversee stock levels, manage bookstore consignments, and perform regular reconciliations. You will bridge the gap between operations and finance to ensure absolute transparency in stock movement.

• Operational Excellence: Enforce editorial guidelines, monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and drive continuous improvement in content and distribution workflows.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in publishing, content management, editorial operations, or book production.

• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage diverse partners, including authors, editors, printers, and retail distributors.

• Commercial Acumen: A proven track record in driving business growth, revenue generation, and market expansion.

• Industry Advantage: Experience within a publishing house, educational publishing company, or a content-driven marketing agency is highly preferred.
