Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for construction leadership? A fast-growing, newly established construction company in Abeokuta, Ogun State, is seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee our infrastructure and building projects.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company at its inception. We are looking for a candidate who is ready to take ownership of projects, provide strategic leadership to site teams, and drive operational excellence. While we provide internal training on our proprietary processes, we are looking for a leader who brings professional discipline, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Requirements:

• Project Leadership: Take full ownership of construction project lifecycles from planning through to final handover, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

• Team Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to on-site teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors; ensure exceptional communication to keep all stakeholders aligned.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks, manage project risks, and implement innovative solutions to complex construction challenges.

• Operational Oversight: Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage budgets, and ensure efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND, B.Sc, M.Sc, or MBA in a construction-related discipline (Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying).

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in construction project management.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard construction management software is required.

• Leadership Traits: Must possess a strong sense of ownership, leadership, and professional accountability.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
