Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Commercial Manager to anchor the revenue engine of Vectar’s Abuja operations. In the specialized and technically complex landscape of carbon markets and sustainability, success is defined by "Commercial Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize corporate buyer intent with the clinical precision required for Forward Purchase Agreements (FPAs), Pricing Structures, and Institutional Trust. This role is designed for a "Market Architect" with a background in B2B Enterprise Sales, Infrastructure Finance, or Strategic Consulting who can blend "Commercial Grit" (moving deals from qualified leads to signed LOIs) with the "Technical Agility" required to build commercial infrastructure from scratch.
Requirements:
1. Pipeline Orchestration & Market Governance
Transaction Sovereignty: Own and drive the end-to-end commercial pipeline with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Deal Progression."
Infrastructure Architecture: Build the commercial frameworks for FPAs and buyer-facing term sheets, providing the "Structural Foundation" for Vectar’s scalable pricing models.
Handoff Stewardship: Coordinate with the Growth & Demand Lead on lead sequencing, ensuring the "Source of Qualified Opportunity" is never lost to poor follow-through.
2. Tactical Resilience & Institutional Logic
Engagement Sovereignty: Lead structured conversations with sustainability and carbon procurement teams at major institutions, acting as the primary "Source of Buyer Confidence."
Alignment Architecture: Prepare pricing context and delivery timelines for senior decision-makers, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for multi-year commitments.
Escalation Stewardship: Prepare the CEO for high-level senior negotiations at the optimal moment, maintaining the "Source of Strategic Closing Power."
3. Execution Integrity & Performance Power
Commitment Sovereignty: Move opportunities from qualified conversations to signed LOIs and FPAs, acting as the primary "Source of Contractual Revenue."
Global Architecture: Operate confidently in a global B2B context, including international travel (UK/International) for key meetings, providing the "Visual Foundation" for Vectar’s market presence.
Velocity Logic: Utilize Enterprise Sales or Project Finance expertise to navigate internal decision-making pathways of large organizations, maximizing the "Source of Commercial Velocity."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Transferable commercial experience in B2B/Enterprise Sales, Infrastructure, Project Finance, or Management Consulting.
Domain Power: Exposure to Energy Markets, Commodities Pricing, or Carbon/Climate Markets is a significant bonus.
Technical Mastery: Ability to communicate complex climate-related ideas clearly within a structured commercial context.
Mobility: Available and comfortable with international travel (specifically to the UK) for high-stakes meetings.
