Are you a results-driven leader with a proven track record in market expansion and revenue generation? We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to spearhead our business growth, cultivate high-value strategic partnerships, and drive profitability across our Nigerian operations. You will be instrumental in shaping our commercial roadmap, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring our competitive edge in a dynamic market.
Requirements:
Strategic Growth & Market Intelligence
Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies that align with long-term business objectives.
Identify high-potential revenue streams and new market opportunities to foster sustainable growth.
Utilize market research and competitor analysis to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Prepare annual business plans, sales forecasts, and growth roadmaps.
Sales Performance & Revenue Management
Drive aggressive sales growth to meet and exceed revenue and profitability KPIs.
Oversee sales budgets, implement dynamic pricing strategies, and manage commercial policies.
Lead high-stakes contract negotiations with vendors, partners, and corporate clients.
Develop customer acquisition initiatives to systematically increase market share.
Business Development & CRM
Cultivate and nurture high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, financial institutions, and major corporate clients.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to maximize customer lifetime value.
Drive customer satisfaction and retention through proactive issue resolution and relationship management.
Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Financial Oversight & Team Leadership
Analyze financial data, sales trends, and profit margins to optimize commercial performance.
Lead, mentor, and foster a high-performance culture within the sales and commercial teams.
Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure seamless service delivery.
Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and mitigate commercial risks.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of revenue growth and sales targets.
Improvement of gross profit and commercial margins.
Expansion of market share and business development pipeline.
Success in customer acquisition, retention rates, and total contract value secured.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or Management. (An MBA or relevant professional certification is a significant advantage).
Experience: 8–12 years of progressive experience in commercial management, sales, or business development, including 3–5 years in a leadership/managerial capacity.
Industry Preference: Demonstrated success in Auto Financing, Automobile, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or Financial Services.
