Job Description:

We are GIDI CIVIL, and we are looking for a Commercial Lead to be the engine behind our growth. We need a sharp professional who can find new opportunities, write winning bids, and build lasting relationships with our clients to ensure the long-term success of our business.

Requirements:

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Find New Business: Create and follow a clear plan to find new projects and reach new markets.

  • Manage the Pipeline: Keep a steady list of potential opportunities that fit our business goals.

  • Bid Strategy: Decide which projects are right for us to go after (the "bid/no-bid" decision) to ensure we don't waste time on the wrong jobs.

Proposals & Tenders

  • Write Winning Bids: Oversee the creation of high-quality proposals, tender documents, and summaries of our company’s capabilities.

  • Ensure Competitiveness: Make sure our pricing and project approach are strong enough to beat the competition.

Client Relationships

  • Build Partnerships: Connect with senior clients, consultants, and partners. Keep them happy and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.

  • Company Image: Help us stand out in the market by managing how we are seen and reporting on market trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Years of Experience: 6–10 years of relevant work experience. Experience in construction or real estate is highly preferred.

  • Key Skills: You must have a strong grasp of contracts, pricing, and project negotiation.

Competencies

  • Communication: Excellent at writing proposals and talking to clients.

  • Organization: Great at managing tender documents and complex project files.

  • Problem-Solving: Able to assess risks and make smart decisions about which projects to pursue.
