Job Description:
- Report to the Strategy and Commercial Officer, supporting strategic and commercial operations by managing end-to-end commercial processes, contract administration, business documentation, pricing strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as the primary liaison between project teams, procurement, and executive leadership to align commercial activities with overall business goals.
- Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of all commercial documents, including pricing schedules, variations, and change orders.
- Track and manage Service Orders (SOs), ensuring timely processing of commercial approvals in collaboration with project and procurement teams.
- Maintain commercial registers such as SO status, billing forecasts, and performance logs.
- Support administration of Master Service Agreements (MSA), Field Management Agreements (FMA), and third-party service contracts.
- Liaise with legal, procurement, and project teams for accurate interpretation and execution of commercial contract clauses.
- Monitor contract expiry dates, performance milestones, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate and compile comprehensive Tender Board packages for management review and approval.
- Prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documents including scope narratives, justification memos, pricing breakdowns, and budget alignment.
- Ensure timely submission of approved packages to NEPL for funding, contracting, or execution approvals; track status and manage follow-ups.
- Assist in business case preparation, pricing justifications, and internal approval memos.
- Support reviews of service delivery costs, market benchmarking, and commercial health checks.
- Maintain commercial templates, dashboards, playbooks, and rate databases.
- Organize and document internal commercial meetings, alignment sessions, and strategy reviews.
- Interface with NEPL, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity on commercial deliverables and approvals.
- Coordinate submission of required documentation for JV, lender, or regulatory compliance related to commercial execution.
- Support contract closeout activities including reconciliations and handover summaries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in commercial coordination, project support, or business administration within the oil & gas, EPC, or energy services sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Master Service Agreements (MSA), Field Management Agreements (FMA), EPC contracts, and approval processes in JV-led operations.
- Experience preparing Tender Board and Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, trackers), PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills with an ability to synthesize commercial data and prepare decision-ready packages.
- Detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and prioritization capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for formal submissions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, commercial, and leadership teams.
- Proactive, resourceful, and dependable in fast-paced work environments.
