Job Description:

We are seeking a commercially driven, highly proactive, and dynamic leader to drive our next phase of business growth. As the Head of Business Development & Commercial Strategy, you will be responsible for leading market expansion, forging high-impact partnerships, and executing aggressive sales strategies to convert market opportunities into sustainable revenue.

This role requires a high-performing professional with a proven track record of scaling businesses nationwide, particularly within agribusiness, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.

Requirements:

  • Growth & Market Expansion: Design and execute robust growth strategies to expand the company’s market footprint and footprint nationwide.

  • Commercial Strategy & Sales Leadership: Champion the commercial agenda by identifying potential revenue streams, setting sales targets, and aggressively driving the conversion of pipeline opportunities into closed deals.

  • Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances with corporate entities, government bodies, and key stakeholders.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to position the company ahead of market shifts.

  • Revenue Generation: Take full ownership of the commercial pipeline, ensuring a results-driven approach to business development that directly impacts the bottom line.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven leadership experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial Strategy, and Market Expansion.

  • Demonstrated experience working within Agribusiness, Infrastructure, Engineering, or closely related, high-growth sectors.

  • Strong network of professional contacts and potential partners within these industries across Nigeria.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
