Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle—from Conceptual Studies and FEED to Detailed Engineering Design (DED). You will be the technical lead for complex onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities, ensuring that our designs are not only safe and compliant but also optimized for constructability and cost-efficiency.

Requirements:

Engineering Design & Analysis

• Structural Modeling: Lead the analysis and design of complex structures, including offshore platforms (jackets, topsides, conductor support) and onshore process facilities (pipe racks, flare structures, control rooms).

• Load & Foundation Analysis: Perform advanced calculations for dead, live, seismic, wave, and blast loads. Oversee the design of shallow and deep (piled) foundation systems based on geotechnical data.

• Deliverable Production: Develop basis-of-design documents, structural design criteria, technical specifications, and detailed material take-offs (MTOs).

Project & Interface Coordination

• Lifecycle Execution: Support plot plan development, facility layout optimization, and CAPEX estimation during early project phases.

• Multidisciplinary Liaison: Act as the primary structural interface with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and HSE teams to ensure seamless integration and clash-free designs.

• Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship to junior engineers, lead design reviews (3D model/constructability), and verify engineering deliverables for quality and schedule adherence.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure all designs meet international codes (e.g., API, AISC, Eurocodes) and project-specific HSE requirements.

• Support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and represent the firm in technical workshops with clients and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a distinct advantage).

• Certification: Must be a Registered Engineer with COREN, NSE, or an equivalent internationally recognized professional body.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience specifically in the oil & gas industry, covering both Greenfield and Brownfield developments.

• Software Proficiency: Advanced user-level proficiency in STAAD.Pro, STAAD Foundation Advanced, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Navisworks.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, expert-level report writing, and proven experience in multidisciplinary EPC/EPCIC project environments.
