Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our team as a Site-Resident Engineer. This role is pivotal for ensuring the excellence and precision of our construction projects, focusing on rigorous site supervision, quality control, and strict adherence to technical design specifications and international standards.

Requirements:

• Design & Compliance: Conduct thorough reviews of construction drawings to ensure strict alignment with British Code specifications and project standards.

• Site Management: Oversee daily site operations, providing hands-on supervision to coordinate construction activities and ensure workflow efficiency.

• Progress Reporting: Document and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.

• Quality Assurance: Monitor and witness all on-site testing procedures to maintain high standards of quality control and assurance.

• Project Delivery: Proactively manage site resources and timelines to ensure projects are delivered safely, within the defined scope, and on schedule.

• Safety & Standards: Execute regular site inspections to guarantee ongoing compliance with design specifications, building codes, and health and safety regulations.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact, coordinating effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, and other project partners.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, reporting, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
